On November 17, 2009, Shanghai Jifeng Packaging Paper Co., Ltd. completed the first domestic carbon neutral transaction based on the voluntary emission reduction mechanism (VER) at the Tianjin Emissions Exchange, offsetting the 6,266 tons of carbon emissions on June 30, 2009, becoming the first and only corrugated paper packaging company in China to achieve carbon neutrality;
Today, Jifeng Packaging has once again obtained the double certification of Tianjin Emissions Exchange Trading and CTI Certification Co., Ltd., which can be described as a double blessing. According to public data, since 2009, Jifeng Packaging has completed a cumulative neutralization of carbon emissions of 455,600 tons, which is equivalent to planting 25,452,514 Haloxylon trees on the earth, which is equivalent to an increase of 50,905 acres of forest.
