SABIC Renewable Polymer Makes Cosmetic Refill Containers More Sustainable

Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) has teamed up with Stella McCartney Beauty and three other well-known French plastics processors to create a complete line of innovative refill containers for skin and eye care products.

The container uses three SABIC polyolefin resin products with a combined mass balance certified renewable raw material content of up to 90% . In addition, once the container has reached the end of its useful life, the contained PP and PE polymer materials can be " value recovered " through existing polyolefin recycling technologies
