  In recent years, Beihai City has proposed to take global paper giants such as Sun Paper, Nine Dragons Paper, and Stora Enso as leaders in the city's Tieshangang (Linhai) Industrial Zone to accelerate the introduction of downstream packaging and printing, carton making and other applications Industrial projects, build and improve the whole industrial chain cluster of high-end paper industry, and strive to build the world's largest high-end paper production base with the most complete categories. At present, Sun Paper and Stora Enso have been put into production, and Nine Dragons Paper is accelerating its construction.


  Not far from Nine Dragons Paper, Guangxi Sun Paper's 3.5 million tons forestry-pulp-paper integration project has a total investment of 22.8 billion yuan and covers an area of 3,433 mu. The white cardboard workshop of the project will start construction in December 2020, and will be put into production on December 10, 2021. Currently, its three production lines of white cardboard, cultural paper, and special paper are running at full capacity every day, and are sprinting towards the goal of a 10% growth rate. .


  It is reported that Guangxi Sun Paper plans to drive dozens of upstream and downstream enterprises to enter Beihai, and 15 of them are currently in operation. The entry of industry leaders has also driven the development of logistics, chemical, packaging, design and other industries. An industrial chain around papermaking has initially formed in Beihai.


  According to official statistics, the output value of Beihai's high-end paper industry will increase by 212.2% year-on-year in 2022, accounting for 6.9% of the city's total industrial output value above the designated size, driving a growth of 5.4 percentage points in the city's total industrial output value above the designated size. The development of the high-end paper industry has entered the "fast lane".
